Imagination

Here I am again tonight, Looking at the stars outside; Thinking of how I can make you think of me. But as I close my eyes again tonight; I can see you there in the distance smiling at me, Waving, walking towards me, I can feel my heart skip a beat; As you hold my hand tight. Everything stops, it’s just you and me; I can feel the fleeting moment; When we walk down the shore, Hand in hand, whilst the ebb washing up our feet Watching the beautiful sunrise, All my inhibitions have vanished, When you look me in the eye, When you whispered, “I love you, truly.” But when, I will open my mouth, To response, your face becomes blurry. Then, comes the deafening silence;   Right then, I realized, it was just my imagination.

The Greatest Showman | Movie Thoughts

I never thought that I would write something about a movie here on my blog as I am resolved with the fact that there are also some blogs/ articles that talk and write some movie reviews and they do it waaayyyy better. But this blog post is not a movie review (I swear) I’m telling you, also I will not make this post so lengthy that you will get sleepy while reading it. I just wanted to express what I feel after watching the movie, and am tellin’ you ‘twas a really beautiful show niggah! I am a fan of musical films, I easily get hooked when I watch some musical films and when I find the story interesting. I have witnessed some musical films before (like Pitch Perfect, High school Musical, Les Miserable, Enchanted, Mama Mia!, Into the Woods etc.) but this show is one of my favorite. I just know it but here are some of the reasons to begin with: 1.       The plot is interesting. 2.       The show is very wonderfully shot (eve...

Introversion

I am alone. You might wonder why I am saying this, when all of my blog post talks about how my life was going together with my friends; those random gala and escapade that I always share in this blog. You might say that I am this happy, bubbly and high-spirited individual who enjoys her life so much, but the truth is I am alone. I grow up being bullied with my classmates at school during grade school years; because I was overweight back then (and up until now, I am still that mataba girl like I used to be when I was in grade school) and I always ended up crying alone in one corner. I guess that was really one of the biggest problem in the society that you will not find any solutions, and up until today, it is still exists. And that is one of the reasons that our society will not grow and prosper because there are still those ill-minded individuals who are dragging people down when they are trying their very best to become successful. I was bullied during my grade school d...

Carpe Diem | Life Lately

Time really fly so fast that you can’t even notice and feel the flow of its tale. You will just wake up one morning and realize that it is the beginning of summer; and sleep later in the night and notice that it is the start of the rainy season. The life’s pace is so quick, so as the things that can happen to an individual’s life. And am tellin’ you, life’s aint easy niggah… HAHA! I’ve been in a one-hell-of-a-roller coaster-ride lately, there are so many things that I did not expect to happen in my life. Things that made me want to weep, things that made me want to sigh in relief, things that made me laugh and smile. It just happen so fast; things happen spontaneously that I am not prepared on how to deal and manage it. Maybe I will start by telling you what really happen exactly a year ago. So, brace yourself for you will know how boring and irrelevant my life is. So, my question, are you ready? If no, you are free not to continue what you have started and jus...

The Poverty of the Woman Who Turned Herself into Stone

“Into stone, This struggle Has turned me Into stone.” She has no hands. She is the folded hand. A fist, frozen. Permafrost Anger that cannot thaw into sorrow. She has no eyes She is the blinded eye. She is her own blinding dark. At noon, her socket carries the night. She is all ears. Voices weigh her down. She sinks into a swill of noises. Silence is not always her own choice. She wears a monochrome of gray. Clowns, orphans, soldiers at war – Their laughter has that stone – Texture of gray. The poem entitled “The Poverty of the Woman Who Turned Herself into Stone” is a classic Filipino poem that was written by Lina Sagaral-Reyes , a classic Filipino poet. The story that was describe by the poem is pretty harsh, and that makes the poem more interesting and mind boggling. The speaker of the poem, which is a woman, sees and describes the situation of the character presented in the poem. The poem is in the third person point o...

Where you can see some wonderful places, witness some unique cultures, and appreciate historical landmarks. But for us first time excursionist, we take one baby steps at a time. Early days of December; but we are still undecided where we would go. Our first choice are Tangub City and Fantasyland, but our schedules are conflict. Second choice; Tangub City and Seven Seas Aqua Park, but they say that is t...
